About The Founder

Anisa began her career as an English Teacher, in Abu Dhabi, working with children between the ages 2-5 years old. It was not a typical job for her, it was her passion. You could see it in her interactions with the children, therefore it wasn’t surprising when she wasn’t satisfied with the quality of resources and activities readily available for both children and parents, where they could find fun and enjoyment in alternative methods of play without the use of technology.

She then set out to start KidzUnplugged and aimed for it to be a platform and a source of information for both children and parents alike. Her ultimate dream is to reach as many children and families as possible, and for each child, parent, teacher or carer to benefit from the program.

‘‘KidzUnplugged is a movement, and a lifestyle, and one that I hope the community can engage in and grow and learn from” - Anisa Ismail
